The ONE30 Network is proud to announce that Micah and Lyndsie Camper will be the new Field Directors for Uganda beginning in January 2024! The Camper’s family vision is “to see every nation, tribe and tongue come to know the hope that is found in Jesus Christ.” They have experience serving abroad in Guatemala and most recently as the Missions Pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Cullman, AL.
In Uganda, Micah and Lyndsie will serve as liaisons between the ONE30 Administrative Team and the administrative teams of the schools and orphanages where our students are being cared for and educated. They will work to connect sponsors to the hearts and needs of the children as well as host short-term ONE30 missions teams. Helping the caregivers seek out opportunities and devise appropriate transition plans for each student as they exit ONE30 schools and enter into trade school or the workforce will be a focus of their work. This aspect of ministry will provide such a benefit to our students.
Finally, the Campers will continue to do what the Lord has called them to do, which is to make disciples wherever they happen to go. They will have the opportunity to work with Daystar International Ministries and build relationships with the people in over 214 local Ugandan Network churches. As they develop long-term discipleship strategies for personal spiritual growth, we also anticipate opportunities for career and community development that will positively impact the nation of Uganda.
