Overview
The trip centers around visiting and encouraging all 1,500 children at the schools and orphanages we support across Western Uganda. These moments of connection are the heartbeat of this trip—connecting with these children though teaching, laughter, and meaningful conversations.
You’ll also help facilitate the powerful FREEDOM Conference, where students and leaders gather for worship, equipping, and spiritual breakthrough. In addition, the team will take part in a community outreach to minister to children living on the streets and in the drainage systems of Mbarara City by providing foodand support.
As a rest day, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking water safari on Lake George and a relaxing afternoon at the stunning Mweya Lodge, surrounded by some of Uganda’s most beautiful scenery.

Special Requirements
Yellow fever vaccination is required and is not included in the trip cost. For this trip you must be able to walk at least one mile briskly to transit the airport. Some walking over mildly uneven terrain is also possible each day.
